Privacy Policy

Brono turns photos on your device into distressed, vintage-print compositions inspired by fashion-magazine clippings. This notice explains what information may be handled while you create and maintain your personal archive.

Effective Date: February 16, 2026

Data Collection

Information handled through Brono falls into a small number of categories. The app’s principal function—selecting a photo, applying a worn print effect, and saving the result to an archive—is designed to work on the user’s device. No Brono account is needed.

Photos and creative content

Brono may request access to selected items in your photo library so that you can import an image or save an edited composition. Your original photos, edits, and archive remain locally on your device unless you deliberately export or share them through an iOS feature or another application.

We do not intentionally extract or transmit embedded location metadata from your images. If a photo contains metadata, its handling may depend on iOS and the export destination you choose.

Information you provide directly

If you email support, we receive the details included in that message, such as your email address, the content of your request, and any screenshots or files you decide to attach. Please avoid sending photographs or other sensitive material unless it is necessary to resolve your question.

Device, diagnostic, and usage details

A released version of Brono may receive limited technical information needed to diagnose failures and understand app performance. Examples can include app version, iOS version, device model, crash records, approximate event times, feature interactions, and a pseudonymous installation or diagnostic identifier. Availability of these details may depend on your iOS privacy settings, consent choices, and whether diagnostic features are enabled.

Third-party software components

Brono may contain third-party SDKs that support functions such as crash reporting, performance monitoring, distribution, or infrastructure security. Such components may process limited device or network information under their own contractual and privacy obligations. They are not authorized to use Brono information for unrelated advertising.

Sensitive permissions: Brono may request photo-library access when you choose to import or save an image. The app does not require access to your contacts or precise location. You can review or withdraw photo permission at any time in iOS Settings; doing so may prevent importing or saving images through the affected feature.

How Information Is Used

The limited information available to Brono is utilized to operate the editor, save work at your direction, answer support requests, identify defects, protect the app from misuse, and evaluate whether features perform reliably across supported devices.

Support correspondence may also be reviewed to spot recurring problems and improve instructions or product design. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is grounded in providing the functionality you request, our legitimate interest in maintaining a dependable and secure application, compliance with legal duties, or your consent when consent is specifically requested.

Advertising and marketing

Brono does not use your photographs for advertising, does not create advertising profiles from your editing activity, and does not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If optional promotional communications are introduced later, they will require an appropriate permission or signup and will include a way to unsubscribe.

Limited disclosures

Information may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary:

  • to vendors processing information on our behalf under confidentiality and security requirements;
  • to respond to a valid legal demand or satisfy an applicable legal obligation;
  • to investigate fraud, security incidents, or threats to users and the service;
  • as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the app, with appropriate safeguards; or
  • when you instruct us to share or export content.

Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Brono’s working files and in-app archive are intended to reside in the app’s local storage on your iPhone or iPad. Images saved to the system photo library are controlled through iOS. Depending on your device configuration, Apple’s backup or synchronization features may copy local content to an account or backup service that you control; those services operate under their own terms.

Support messages are stored in the systems used to receive and answer email. Diagnostic records, when available, may be maintained by a contracted technical provider. We apply safeguards suited to the nature of the information, including restricted access, data minimization, secure transmission where supported, and vendor access controls.

No storage or transmission method can eliminate every risk. You should keep iOS updated, use a device passcode, and take care when exporting an edited image to another person or service.

Retention periods

  • Local photos and archive items: kept on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall Brono. Copies saved outside the app must be removed from their destination separately.
  • Support correspondence: generally retained for up to 24 months after the matter is closed, unless a longer period is needed for legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
  • Diagnostics and limited usage records: generally retained for no more than 90 days, after which they are deleted or aggregated unless security or legal needs justify longer retention.

Third-Party Services

Certain operational tasks may be supported by outside providers—for example, app distribution, email delivery, infrastructure protection, diagnostics, and crash analysis. The providers in use can change as the application evolves. Each receives only the information reasonably needed to perform its assigned function and is expected to handle it under applicable privacy and security requirements.

Brono can also interact with iOS sharing tools or destinations selected by you. Once you send an image to another application, website, cloud account, or person, that recipient’s practices govern the exported copy. Brono does not control independent third-party services.

Your Privacy Rights

Privacy laws in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, and other regions may give you rights over information connected to you. Subject to local exceptions and verification requirements, these can include the ability to:

  • ask whether personal information about you is being processed;
  • request access to, or a portable copy of, qualifying information;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete details;
  • request deletion or restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis used;
  • opt out of a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; and
  • receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

Brono does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Accordingly, there may be no such activity to opt out of.

To exercise a right, email support@brono.com and write “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Describe the request and the email address associated with any prior support correspondence. We may ask for limited details to verify identity and protect against unauthorized access. An authorized agent may submit a request where law permits, provided that authority can be verified.

Because the app’s archive is stored locally and no account is required, we may not possess or be able to identify content held only on your device. Such content can normally be managed in Brono, the Photos app, or iOS Settings. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority or appeal our response where applicable.

Children’s Privacy

Brono is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 18. The application is not designed as a child-directed online service under the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If a parent or guardian believes that a minor has submitted personal information through a support channel, please contact us. After appropriate verification, we will investigate and delete qualifying information as required by law.

Policy Updates

This policy may be revised at any time to reflect new functionality, legal requirements, security practices, or changes in the way Brono operates. The latest version will appear on florid.brono.beauty with an updated effective date.

When a change materially affects how personal information is handled, notice may also be provided through the app, an App Store release note, a prominent website message, or another reasonable channel. Where required, permission will be requested before a materially different use takes effect.
